DS > DS Lite... Worth the upgrade?

We've have got the DS Lite and I must say it is an awesome improvement on the DS. It's a much better shape, much nicer to hold and it's screen is much clearer. What do you think?

I didn't have the old DS, so it was an easy buy for me, but seeing at how the games get a second life with the brightness, I'd say that it may be a wise investment.

Are the main screens a lot brighter? My fiance is legally blind and thus has a LOT of trouble seeing images on a DS, particularly on the stylus part. We were going to upgrade to Lites because they look like they have better lighting and would be easier for him to use.

Yes, they are a quite a lot brighter!

Oh that's fabulous to hear! Thank you so much, that'll just tickle him to death, hehe. He's been wanting to play the latest Castlevania and couldn't because he simply could not see the screens. :D

Actually one of the mention of the DS Lite was that it gave a new flavor to Castlevania :)

But yes, every games seems nicer with the new screen.
