I admit it! I was "into" Pokemon when I was younger. I had the Gamboy games Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, And Gold. I also had Pokemon Stadium and Hey you, Pikachu! for N64. Whew, I feel better. Now it's your turn! Confess how many Pokemon games did (or do!) you have.

You know, I can still kick the butt of any challenger at Pokemon Staduim. I AM A POKEMON MASTER!!! I was 21 when I started fooling around with Pokemon, by the way. I have the cards and everything. Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, and Snorelax were my favorites. Should I be embarassed now? LOL.

I still like playing the Pokemon games. Even now.
It'd be even better if my old save didn't get deleted. I had all 151 Pokemon on Pokemon Red (including a legit Mew), and it got wiped when I used the broken (only found out when my brother told me after) Game Boy.

I had a freind who got a Mew. He used to kick my butt with it all the time! I never could get it thought. My favorite was Ninetails (I'm such a girl I know!). I have shoebox's full of cards, I'm hoping that they will be worth millions some day. LOL.

Mew isn't really all that good. He's like a weaker Mewtwo.

The pokemon games are classics in their own way, I still lkike them occasionally. They're just fun and uncomplicated.

I remember that me and my other two sisters all had binders full of them. We would sit on our porch, trade with one person. . .Five minutes later, a whole line would be waiting, and you would sit there and trade for literally hours.

I owned the game. It was alright, but nowhere near as good as the other games. Just felt a bit phony.

I used to trade and play them. I always used to try and win some off of my friends but I ended up losing them :P

I didn't trade, just collected. I liked the way they look. If I'm not mistaken, my large collection is in my garage somewhere. Maybe they'll accrue some value someday. :)

I had bad memories of the actual Card game. This one guy held me up at knifepoint once and told me to give him my Charizard card when I was about 13-14. I decided to sell all my old cards after that. I only ever collected them too, but looking back at it now, the amount people actually paid for these cards was absurd. I remember some of the 'cool' kids coming in with cards they'd paid £30+ for.
About the knifing thing. I guess Karma worked out for me. Some kid lost a Dark Charizard and I found it a few days later on the floor. Probably a few months after the knife incident.

I collected and traded but never played much. I had freinds who were deep into the game but it felt a bit silly to me. Yes looking back it was insane how much some people paid for some cards, I sould have sold my good ones back when they were at peak price. Well mabey they will be valuble in a retro way someday? Stranger things have happened.

I'll fess up to owning lots of the games too. I loved pokemon stadium for the N64 because they had level limits. You couldn't just put your pokemon on sterioids and win all the time. The level 10 league was the hardest.

I loved Pokemon Stadium way too much. It's one of those games I actually remember going to the store, looking at, and buying.

By decent prices, what would you say a bog standard card was worth.

I agree level 10 was really hard. Are they really getting decent prices??? If they are I'm right behind you on Ebay!

The nintendo games were great, i remember the hype when nintendo planned to realese the silver and gold versions. I dont know but some how me and mate a got a japanese version for the computer of the internet. But when i look back on all the wasted money on the cards and games i feel cheated. But it was certainly one of the biggest money makers of its time.
