If Nintendo were smart they'd just have a XBL like setup with a special parental control system where if turned on it would block the user from adding friends without their friend code.

So essentially everyone has a friend code and a Gamer Tag. With the Parental Controls OFF you can go on Nintendo Wi-fi and play with ANYONE, and if you like em, you add em to your buddy list which automatically records their Friend code and Gamer Tag. Of course text and Mic capabilities are on also.

With the Parental Control ON You can only play custom/lobby matches with people that you have their friend codes, and when you decide to play online with anyone(or world wide play), you CAN'T ADD THEM to your Friend list. THis would possibly be called Safe Mode. It would function almost exactly as the friend code system for MKDS.

Also just in case in safe mode, since people can usually talk or text and share the friend code verbally and such.

(Ex: Rapist tells kid to add him out of safe mode online play - like "my tag and codes are ect. ect. ect")

It wouldnt allow you to use a mic, or any type text messages, but only predetermined quotes which would be chosen by that specific game. Like in Mario Kart Wii... a pop-up bubble or something would come up and you'd chose to say "Eat my dust" on choose "Im number one baby!"

Or in a game like RED STEEL (just an example) You could choose to say "Im like a shinobi!"

That system would actually solve all their problems about being worried if a kid is stalked through Wi-fi....

Well tell me if you'd like this system...
