all you people who think that ninty provides 'kiddy' games are a bit sad coz if u look at the line up for PS3 its literally all FPS and hardly any variety. Dont u think u would ever get bored of that. BUT ninty yey has wii sports to keep you moving and having fun red steel if u reli hate 'kiddy' games mario galaxy (adventure). Its also provided a new concept to movement. by the way hav u ever played a racing game and tilted sideways instinctively you do this coz u wanna be part of the game and coz u love it and nintendo is actually provide this through the Wii remote. so maybe at first you find too sensitive but its actually 'nex gen' new software and i know PS3 has the same idea but its only six-axis so its not as good. As i hav alredi mentioned PS3 is all FPS and there usually isnt any multi player but for Wii you can grab a remote and hav hours of fun with Wii tennis with ur mates. I may look like a fanboy but i am gettin PS3 and Wii both on there launch dates and i think that i am goin to enjoy Wii a lot more.
My case is ended i hope u enjoyed it.

There are alot of FPS for the ps3 the type games i really enjoy. As you said they do get dull and multi-player action is a bit limited. The list of games for the Wii has proved surprising for me as i did believe many of the new realeases would be 'kiddy' games. So bring on the Wii and its new games!

I think nintendo has been branded as producing 'kiddy' games mainly because of title such as mario and pokemon people mainly associate with nintendo. I think this time around nintendo will have alot more 'mature games' though.

I heard that all throughout the Gamecube era. Remember the old 'Mario is gonna grow up' stories? What did we get from that then? Luigi's Mansion.
I think it's about time we all admitted that Nintendo isn't a kiddy company. It's a family company. Their consoles are for the family. They even say it themselves. You could call a Disney movie kiddy, but it's still a family movie.
Nintendo fans tend to use facts and speculation when it suits them. For example, M$ are massive, corporate bastards who care about nothing but money, but when people say Nintendo are failures because they don't sell enough, fans use the profits as an excuse for Nintendo to be great. It's the same with the kiddy names. Nintendo IS a family company, but most people will call that kiddy anyway.
The difference between Nintendo and Sony/Microsoft is that their markets are different. Nintendo, as said before loads of times, is a family company. Sony are targeting mainly teens and an older audience. If Nintendo wanted to do that they could do it easily. However, it would ruin their family image, and let's all be honest, Nintendo can't afford to ruin anything with their last place standing in the console wars.
