mines Windows Live Messenger (MSN), because there are lots of people on it. The software in itself could be better.

Personally, I'm fond of AIM.
Never have tried SkyPE though! Maybe I'll give it a shot.

MSN. Definitely. Been using it for years and it's just...easy. and cool. I despise AIM. Really. Mainly because it logs me out once an hour.

My favorite is Yahoo messanger. Yahoo will be able to talk, make phone call and they can leave you off line message that you will get when logged in.
